We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE! This role offers the opportunity to lead and execute both offshore and onshore operations, while ensuring top-notch equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and customer service.

Responsibilities and authority

Field Engineers report to the Middle East Service Delivery Coordinator.

Offshore/onshore assignments in UAE and abroad.

Main tasks

Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:

• Lead and undertake operations offshore/onshore for the company.

• Vendor management.

• Maintenance and upgrading of equipment.

• Equipment logistics.

• Customer service.

• Customer and end-user product training.

• Assistance with technical marketing support.

• Devise quality plans.

• Develop and improve working processes within their field of responsibility and ensure that planned improvement measures are undertaken.

• Undertake Quality and HSE activities, ref. Input Process etc.

• Devise product documentation and archiving.

• Assist with stock management.

• Other tasks as planned by the company.

Requirements for competences

• Mechanical engineer or engineer with over 3 years relevant experience. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of qualifications.

• Possesses offshore certificate and health certificate.

• Must have worked as a Field Engineer, Trainee for min. 6 months and possess necessary offshore experience and internal training.

• Solid experience with customer and vendor management, related to offshore activities or other industries with strict requirements for quality.

• Systematic, independent and analytical.

• Initiative, the ability to see things through and to work with others.

• Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English.
