TCO has an open position for a Base Mechanic. The position is located at the TCO facility in Indre Arna. The focus will be assembly, testing and maintenance of TCO equipment.

The Base Mechanic reports to Production Manager.

Main tasks

Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:

• Assembly of TCO equipment

• Testing and preparation of TCO equipment

• Product stocks and stockholding

• Cleanliness and tidiness in workshop premises

• Documentation

• Undertake Quality and HSE activities

Requirements for competences

• Engineer or mechanic with minimum 3 years relevant experience. Experience with fine mechanics and tuning of such. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of formal qualifications

• Experience with offshore-related business or other industry with strict requirements for quality

• Good computer skills.

• Systematic and self-starter

• Initiative, the ability to see things through and to work with others

• Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English
